Trio Wood Peruvian Flute
A Bridge Between Breath, Sound and Spirit.
The Anatomy of the Woods
Copaiba: The Sacred Flow & Emotional Cleansing (The Mouthpiece)
Copaiba is one of the most revered trees in the Amazon rainforest. Famous for its miraculous healing resin, this tree embodies the Water element and emotional renewal. Because it forms the mouthpiece, Copaiba initiates the musical journey.
- Purification & Solace: Copaiba carries a gentle, maternal energy. Just as its resin heals physical wounds, the wood’s spirit soothes emotional trauma, washes away anxiety and cleanses the energetic body. It softens the ego and purifies your intent before the breath transforms into sound.
- Fluidity & Adaptation: It promotes the concept of flow—helping the player adapt to life’s changes, release stagnant energy and open the heart chakra to compassion.
Purpleheart / Moradillo: The Portal of Crown & Vision (The Main Body)
In South American shamanic practices, Purpleheart connects deeply to the spiritual crown, higher consciousness and the element of Air. It forms the main body of the flute where your fingers shape the notes.
- Divine Connection: Because of its rare, vibrant violet color, it serves as a direct conduit for cosmic wisdom. Playing through Purpleheart opens the mind, enhances psychic intuition and aligns your awareness with spiritual guides. It elevates your melody into a vision, lifting your prayers straight to the heavens.
- Inner Royalty & Sovereignty: It represents spiritual strength and resilience, helping you stand firmly in your own truth and power.
Guayacán / Green Heart Wood: The Ultimate Shield & Endurance (The Foot Joint)
Known historically as Lignum Vitae (the “Tree of Life”), Guayacán carries immense spiritual weight tied directly to the Earth element. Guarding the foot of the flute, this nearly indestructible root-wood binds the entire performance to the physical world.
- Protection & Deflection: Guayacán stands as a supreme protective wood. Its heavy, dense energy acts as a shield against negative vibrations, envy, or spiritual disruption.
- Endurance & Healing: Because the tree lives for centuries and survives harsh environments, it transmits the spirit of longevity, vitality and deep physical healing. It anchors the high-vibrational energy of the upper woods, sealing the medicine of your music and grounding your final notes firmly into Mother Earth.
The Spiritual Synergy of Your Flute
This exact sequence of timbers creates a purposeful spiritual pipeline, channeling your breath through three distinct energetic realms:
- Copaiba at the mouthpiece purifies your breath, softens the ego and cleanses your intentions before the music begins.
- Purpleheart flows through the middle to elevate the melody into a cosmic vision, lifting your prayers and music into the cosmos.
- Guayacán at the bottom anchors the sound outward, grounding the high-vibrational energy and protecting your connection to the physical Earth.
Sealed with non-toxic oils, this flute produces a voice that is warm, resonant and full of character. Because of its structural simplicity, it serves as an ideal ally for beginners—especially for those who have never played an instrument before. It is far more than a musical tool; it is a gentle invitation into rhythm, vibration and presence.
The Medicine of Sound
Through breath and intention, this flute guides us toward meditative states, including the deeply restorative alpha brainwave state—a natural, resting rhythm of the mind.
As you play, thoughts begin to soften, intuition rises, and a sense of cosmic connection returns. The flute encourages emotional release, bringing buried feelings into the light where they can shift, transmute and heal.
A Portal to Ancient Memory
Ancient Andean wisdom teaches that the Earth itself was created through song. All living beings carry rhythm, sound, and harmony within their design.
The flute acts as a physical bridge—between memory and presence, between heaven and Earth, and between what we know and what we have forgotten. With each note, the heart opens and the spirit lifts.
The instrument becomes a sacred ally that speaks the language of pure vibration—weaving your breath into song, and your song into prayer.
Honouring the Shipibo-Conibo People
This flute carries the profound resonance of the Shipibo-Conibo people—an Indigenous tribe living along the Ucayali River in the Peruvian Amazon.
Originally two separate groups, their cultures merged through generations of intermarriage and ritual, forming a resilient lineage that represents around 8% of the region’s registered Indigenous population today.
The Shipibo-Conibo are globally respected for their art, profound plant medicine lineages, and sound healing traditions.
Their intricate pottery, textiles, and beadwork feature geometric patterns known as kené. These lines are not mere decorations; they are the visual geometry of sacred songs, icaros, and healing frequencies.
Each design acts as a medicine portal. Some are sung into existence for energetic protection, while others offer clarity, wisdom, or abundance.
This flute is a sacred tool for remembering. It invites you to reconnect with rhythm, presence and the divine intelligence of sound.
Use it in stillness, bring it into ceremony, or simply let it guide you back to your heart—where peace, breath and song have always lived.
